- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 medium cooking apples, pared, cored and diced
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- whipped cream
Recipe
- 1 preheat the oven to 350°f butter a 9 inch pie pan.
- 2 beat eggs and sugar together until light and frothy. add apples, flour, baking powder, salt and pecans. spread in the pan and bake at 350 f until brown and crusty, about 25 minutes. serve warm, but not hot, with whipped cream.
